Acromag SP Series: 4-20mA Splitters
Acromag extends their new line of signal splitters with eight new models providing current or voltage output and support of wide-range DC power options.
Acromag’s new SP330 series of isolated signal splitter/duplicators are designed to accommodate a broad variety of applications. Very similar to the SP230 loop-powered 2-wire series, these 4-wire DC-powered models are also software-configurable for precise conditioning of current, voltage or temperature input signals.
The SP330 splitters provide two isolated outputs, proportional to a single input, with a choice of process control signal formats (0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V, or ±10V). A standard USB port connects the splitter to a PC or Android device with Acromag’s free software for easy selection and scaling of I/O ranges. Power sources from 6-32V DC are supported and can connect at the terminals, to a power bus along the DIN rail, or at both locations for redundancy.

A USB connection to a Windows PC or Android device enables simple, precise configuration of I/O ranges and a variety of operational settings with free software. The two-wire & four-wire instruments include removable terminal blocks to install quickly and can acquire power from either output. Sink or source output wiring connections are supported, and the ruggedized SP230 Series modules operate reliably from -40 to 80ºC while the SP330 Series modules operate reliably from -40 to 75°C with high immunity to electrical noise and surge protection. Ul/cUL Class 1 Division 2, ATEX Zone 2 and IECex hazardous location approvals are pending, and prices start at just $250.
